There are great opportunities in recession. In fact, recession period is the time to draw out the best in all of us; the time for innovation: new ways of doing old things. Your services that are not wanted at home are in hot demand abroad. I have seen thousands of people set up business dynasties abroad rather than in their own countries.
Consider the Jews again. How many poor Jews have you seen abroad? Why are they most successful abroad rather than at home? Consider the Indians and the Lebanese and the Japanese etc you see around you. Do you think they don"t have homes in their countries? How were they able to build large corporations in your own countries and employing your citizens instead of the other way round?
My friend, the time to act is now. Don"t let your wife, husband, girlfriend or partner stop you. Your child should not be a hindrance in your moving abroad. At worst, they travel there with you.
